Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our course range and add any courses that you wish to study into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection,click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. You will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address etc) in order to receive or use information from our website. Such services include information about course availability, general information, or payment for courses.

By entering your details in the relevant fields you will enable Step Up to provide you with the information you requested. Whenever you provide such personal information we will treat that information in accordance with this policy. Step Up will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet current Internet best practice.

When an order is processed the card details go to Paypal who then credit our account Paypal offers its own security. (StepUp does not store any financial information belonging to our customers) We then issue an order number and process the order. Client details are kept live only for this process. We will not pass on any details to third parties unless the client expresses a wish to do this. We will not contact a client unless there is a processing or order problem.

When confirmation of order is received this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. 

Use and storage of your personal information

When you supply any personal information to www.stepup.edu legal obligations towards you in the way we deal with that data. We must collect the information fairly that is, we must explain how we will use it (see the notices on particular web pages that let you know why we are requesting the information) We do not intend to pass this information on to any third party. In general, any information you provide to Step Up will only be used within Step Up.

We will keep your personal information in our systems for as long as you use the service you have requested and remove it in the event that the purpose has been met. We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Access to your personal information
