1. Terms applying to all users of the STEP UP website.

Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use carefully before using www.stepup-edu.com.

In Terms and Conditions, 'we', 'us' and 'StepUp' means:

By using our web site www.stepup-edu.com  you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions the Privacy Statement .

You acknowledge that you are responsible for making back-up copies of all your data and taking appropriate precautions against viruses, hacking and other types of computer misuse.

Whilst we try to ensure that the our website www.stepup-edu.com  does not contain any error, defect, malfunction or corruption, we do not accept responsibility for any damage to or loss of data on your computer system, network or server that results from the download or use of the website or any materials made available via the website (except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

We cannot promise that access to the www.stepup-edu.com will be uninterrupted or error free. We reserve the right to suspend access to the website between the scheduled maintenance window of approximately 22.00 and 00:00 GMT each day. The purpose of the www.stepup-edu.com is to provide individuals and businesses with information on the range of courses, centres, products and other services offered by or via International Centre of Professional Education “Step Up” including enrolment in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Please note that the courses advertised on this our website www.stepup-edu.com   Are provided and approved by International Centre of Professional Education “Step Up”.

 3. Disclaimer

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website. However, “Step Up” gives no warranties and makes no representations, express or implied, as to the accuracy, quality, validity, timeliness, completeness or availability of any information contained in it's website and accepts no liability for any loss resulting directly or indirectly from the use of or reliance on any such information. Courses and facilities may be cancelled, modified or replaced at short notice. The use of this web site and any information contained therein or obtained there from is at your own risk, and “Step Up” assumes no responsibility whatsoever in connection with such use.


4. Notification of Change

International Centre of Professional Education "Step Up" does not provide notification when changing the contents of its website.


5. Limitation of Liability

In no event will International Centre of Professional Education "Step Up be liable or have any responsibility for damages of any kind, whether direct, indirect, special, consequential or incidental, resulting from access or use of, or inability to access or use, this web site or any web sites or pages linked to this web site, including (without limitation) damages resulting from the act or omission of any third party, even if any member of "Step Up" has been advised of the possibility thereof.


6. Refund and Cancelation of Lessons Policy

A.      Payment by you of the Course Fee

You agree to pay us the course fees (including VAT where applicable) to International Centre of Professional Education ”Step Up”

We reserve the right from time to time to change the amount of the Course Fee. The current Course Fee for any course at any given time will be displayed on the Website or notified to you by International Centre of Professional Education “Step Up”. In the unlikely event that due to a technical error, the amount of the Course Fee is incorrect, we will notify you as soon as we reasonably can. You will then be entitled to choose between receiving a refund of the monies that you have paid to us (in which case you will not be enrolled on the course) or to pay the balance of the Course Fee to Us.

B.      Our Rights to Stop Providing the Services to You

If you are an on-line learner, we will make the Course Materials available to you via the Website from Enrolment until the earlier of:

  • Your notifying Us in writing, by email or by telephone that you have completed the course and no longer require access to the Services;
  • Your failing to access the course materials for a period of 14 days or more; or  7 days after Step Up marks the course as completed or achieved.

C.      Step Up refund policy and guidelines:

  • Should Step Up cancel a course for any reason, students enrolled at the time Step Up announces the cancellation will be entitled to a full refund of course fees paid within 10 days, and this will incur no administrative charges or penalties.
  • Should Step Up be unable to provide all units to meet the student’s course completion schedule. The following will apply:
    • Course fees paid will be refunded in full within 10 days; and
    • Course fees paid on any unavailable dates will be refunded within 10 days; and
  • If a candidate withdraws from a course before the commencement of the course, full refund of the fees will be made, however a cancellation fee of 15% of full course fees will be withheld to cover administration costs.
  • If a student misses more than two lessons without giving 24 hours notice to their teacher, the student will lose their fee.
  • For students who miss two lessons we will do our best to help and keep them on the course, but more than two missed lessons will automatically make the course null and void and their place on the course will be lost and there will be no fee refund.
  • Cancellations (other than for extenuating circumstances) cancellations during the course period for students that have commenced their course will not be entitled to a refund.
  • In the case of a student who wishes to withdraw from a course or program due to illness or extreme hardship, Step Up may, at its discretion, allow a refund of the fees. The following conditions apply:
    • The person concerned must produce satisfactory evidence of the circumstances of his/her withdrawal, such as medical certificates;
    • A cancellation fee of 25% of full course fees will be withheld from the refund; or
    • Withdrawal must take place prior to the expiration of the Course; and
